2012—The year of celebrations

What an exciting year 2012 will be. For China, 2012 is the Year of the Dragon. For us at Victoria Cruise & Travel Boutique it is the Year of Celebrations!

August will mark our tenth year of operations of the Agency, first as a cruise franchise and since 2009 as a member of the Ensemble Travel Group. Both experiences have been tremendous for us. Initially as a cruise agency, we established ourselves as cruise professionals and we had the privilege to cruise most of the cruise lines to many places. This gave us all the confidence to help you, the travelers, in selecting the right cruise vacation. And now as an independent travel agency affiliated with Ensemble, we are building from our strong cruise background to offer not only land tours but also to create unique experiences for our customers in most parts of the world through our exclusive and phenomenal network of on location specialists. For 2012 we are adding Air by Ensemble, a unique product that provides the best value in air tickets so that we may better support our clients.

August will also be a very special month for us personally as Christine and I, the owners of the Agency, mark forty years of successful partnership as lovers, as best friends, as parents and grand-parents, and, over the last ten years, as business partners too. We’re going to celebrate this special occasion this year. When we “retired” from our respective careers and chose to get into the travel business, a Tahiti cruise was on our bucket list to do some day. And so it will become reality on 13 October this year when we will cruise on board the luxury cruise ship m/s Paul Gauguin. Is Tahiti or a South Pacific cruise on your bucket list too?
